Welcome to the world of C.J. Sheffield!

Hello my name is C.J. Sheffield! Welcome to my world 💭 I always wanted to be a writer & illustrator for children's books since I was in elementary school.

It all started when another girl from my class and I had been chosen to sit down with an author at our school. She read us her book and we got to ask her questions. I knew this was something I wanted to do. 

I had also been really into poetry growing up, I had written a poem in 4th grade and out of our whole grade at school I was one of two people, who had gotten their poem published in a book!

A little bit about myself:

1. I love nostalgia, specifically the time period of the 80’s — 90’s 🛼 I love the primary colors ❤️💛🩵

2. I love being outdoors, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, roller skating 🌲

3. I’m obsessed with animals! I have a rabbit and Guinea pig 🦋

4. I want to live on a farm one day and have a donkey for a pet! 🫏 

5. My favorite children’s book is Charlottes Web 🕸️ 

6. I love smoothies, eating olives out of the can & could eat tacos all the time 🌮 

7. My favorite number has always been ✨7✨
